Capsule filters can be used in factory and research laboratories for the filtration of small volumes of liquids and gases, for modeling, studying and optimizing existing and developing new filtration schemes for various substances, including aggressive ones.
DFP-201L(G)-60 capsule filter holders are designed to install a single filter element 60 mm high in them and are used to filter neutral and aggressive liquid media from mechanical and colloidal particles with a capacity of up to
50 l/h (in water), Or gaseous media up to sterility with a capacity of up to 2 m3/h.
Materials
Materials from which capsule filter holders are manufactured:
• stainless steel grade 12H18N10T (GOST 5632-72) or AISI 304
• AISI 316L stainless steel
Construction
The casing of the DFP-201L(G)-60 capsule filter holder made of stainless steel consists of two parts, which are connected by means of a quick-release clamp. The connection of the capsule filter holder to the line is carried out using a quick-release connection of the Tri-Clamp type.
The pressure drop can be ensured both with the help of a small laboratory compressor and with the help of a water jet pump, which creates the pressure difference necessary for the filtration process to proceed. In addition, the capsule filter can be equipped with an air bleed cock, a manometer and return nipples.
A corrugated filter element with a filtration area of up to 0.2 m2 is installed in the capsule, depending on the packing density of the material. The filter module is a mini-cartridge with a height of 60 mm and a diameter of 70 mm.
